Safety and Health in the Workplace

Protect Your Workforce

An effective safety and health program makes a huge difference in preventing work related injuries and illnesses. Addressing safety and health issues leads to reduced workers compensation costs, increased productivity, and a happier and more productive workforce. Effective management of worker safety and health reduces the extent and severity of work-related injuries and illnesses.

Our Safety and Health Manual explains in detail the employees and the employer's responsibilities. While it is the employer's responsibility to provide employees with a safe and healthy work environment, it is the employees responsibility to comply with the company's safety and health rules and policies.

Hearing Conservation Program

OSHA requires that a continuing, effective hearing conservation program be administered whenever noise levels exceed 90dba for an 8 hour time-weighted average. In order for a hearing conservation program to comply with OSHA regulations, you must administer a base-line hearing exam for all employees who will be part of the program. Every year following you must adminster a follup-up exam to determine if any hearing loss has occured. In addition, all participants must receive annual training in hearing protection. Our hearing Conservation Program addresses all of these compliance topics and many more!

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION PROGRAM

If any of your employees are exposed to substances above the permissible exposure limit (PEL) you are required by law to have a Respirator Protection Program.

Employees exposed to substances above the PEL or TLV established on the MSDS are required to wear respirators. However, prior to selecting a respirator, employees must undergo a physical examination by a medical professional to determine whether the employee’s cardiovascular health is strong enough to wear a respirator. Once this determination has been made, the respirator must be fit specifically for that employee.

Our Respirator Protection Program shows you how to comply with OSHA while protecting the health of your employees and the liability of your company. Our program is your guide for all respirator related questions!
